You can apply rGlohJahWwans Universalisability by going through each of the concepts rGlohJahWwans stands for and asking the kinds of questions outlined below. You can get creative with this, so have fun. Here are questions you can ask regarding the rGlohJahWwans concepts:
Sustainability is a new concept for some, and to check whether whatever you’re thinking about pursuing is sustainable, just ask the Kantian question “what if everybody did it?” You can get creative and ask "What if everybody did it all the time?" "What if everybody did it as much as possible? "What if no one did it?" etc. As an example, let’s apply rGlohJahWwans Universalisability to driving a gasoline-powered car.
You can keep going, but once you get a “no,’ you can skip to the sustainability question: "What if everyone drove gasoline-powered cars?" Well, we’d have:
What if everyone did it all the time?
OK, so driving a gasoline-powered car is not “rGlohJahWwan.” But driving a super-cool, super-fast, solar-charged electric car is! So yay! Drive electric. Convert your car. It’ll be fun! Wooohoooo! See how it works? Just go through the rGlohJahWwans acronymn when making your purchase decisions. Also, remember that it's not a time to be perfect...but the time is ripe to start heading in the right direction...and you can do that by applying rGlohJahWwans Universalisability regularly! |
